ABB at the Exhibition for Renewable Energy in Belgrade

The 3rd International Exhibition for Renewable Energy IERWE and Exhibition for heating, air conditioning and ventilation THERM 2014 was held at Belexpo center in Belgrade from March 12 to 14. ABB participated this year in the professional exhibition for renewable energy, along with 35 direct exhibitors, 19 of which were exhibitors from Serbia, and 16 exhibitors were from abroad: Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria.

Within the Business Forum, high quality additional program was organized where domestic and foreign exhibitors presented their various ideas related to the renewable energy resources and informed the visitors and audience about technical innovations and projects in this field.

Mr. Milan Jevremovic, Local Business Unit Sales Manager of the Discrete Automation and Motion Division, held professional presentation “ABB Solutions in solar applications”. He presented products from ABB portfolio used for construction of PV solar power plants. Special attention was paid to solar inverters, which now include the products of the plant Power One, a member of ABB Group.

This specialized Exhibition promotes efficient energy saving and points to the possibilities of economic growth by utilization of renewable energy resources potential (RWE) and energy efficiency (EF) in Serbia, with the review on the positive impact the use of renewable energy resources (RWE) has on the environment.
