Austrian investors still willing to invest 500m EUR in sports complex of "Crvena zvezda"

The concrete offer of the Austrians reached "Crvena zvezda" in August 2006 and the champion has had the next move since that time.

Vladimir Jugović has confirmed the words of Nebojša Leković that certain company from Austria is willing to make large investments. Former Secretary-General of red&white claims that the amount of nearly 500m EUR has been mentioned - for construction of new stadium, trade centers, hotels, underground garages, office space...

- I brought the written offer in August and that offer is still valid. I do not want to talk about digits, but I am of the opinion that such project is not only the interest of "Crvenea Zvezda", but also of Belgrade and Serbia - says Jugović, a member of the ADministrative Board of the Club.

He says that it is one of the largest Austrian building companies and that the works on the local stadium would not be either the first or the last works it carried out on the stadiums in Europe.

Jugović explains that the Austrians clearly cited questions and subquestions. It would probably be a shame to miss such opportunity, without any investments by "Crvenea zvezda". However, the experts are to estimate whether the time is right for such undertaking.
