Fresenius Helios completes acquisition of Rhon-Klinikum hospitals
The company expects this acquisition to increase the profit per share as early as this year. As of 2015, the expected profit will also include the costs of integration.
Besides, an agreement has been signed between the operators of hospitals Helios, Rhon-Klinikum and Asklepios, with the aim of establishing and developing a network of hospitals that will offer innovative models of health care across Germany. Public, non-profitable and other private hospitals are free to join.
The Fresenius Group supplies products and services for dialysis, hospitals and patient care at infirmaries. In 2013, the Group generated a revenue of EUR 20.3 billion, employing a total of 178,337 people world wide on 31 December 2013. The Group consists of four companies that also operate globally – Fresenius Medical Care, Fresenius Kabi, Fresenius Helios, and Fresenius Vamed.
