Production of synthetic fibers in Zrenjanin - Italian company Sitip gets land at half price
The aldermen of Zrenjanin agreed Friday (14 March 2014) to sell a land lot in the industrial zone Severozapad-Elemir to the Italian company Sitip at half the market price.
Ivan Devic, assistant to the mayor of Zrenjanin, said that Sitip was looking for a building lot of 10 hectares for its factory.
The decision of the Zrenjanin Assembly to sell the land lot to the Italian company at half the market price is now pending approval from the Serbian government.
Sitip is engaged in the manufacture of synthetic and elastic fibers for the automotive industry, safety equipment production, and the cosmetics industry.
