Serbia signs strategic partnership agreement with Azerbaijan
Rasim Ljajic, the outgoing trade minister of Serbia, and Sahin Mustafayev, the Azerbaijani minister of economy andindustry, have signed an agreement on strategic partnership.
The ministers presiding over Tuesday's session of the Intergovernment Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan pointed out that in the following period, special attention would be paid to the development of cooperation in multiple fields, such as energy, agriculture, industry, telecommunications, transportation and tourism.
- Our relations are now on the level of strategic partnership. So far, we've signed 20 bilateral agreements that serve as the foundation for further cooperation in various fields - said Rasim Ljajic.
The Serbian trade minister invited Azerbaijani investors to invest in Serbia's economy and join the process of its privatization in that way.
