Penetration of new markets - Hungarian second-hand clothing store chain considers expanding business to our region
Ir Hasznaltruha, a Hungarian second-hand clothing store chain, is considering its options to penetrate the markets in this region.
Hungary's Ir Hasznaltruha started importing and distributing used clothing from Ireland and England in 2008. They opened their first second-hand clothing store in 2009 and began developing its own franchise as early as 2010. Their stores quickly covered the whole market of Hungary, so they moved on to expand the business to neighboring countries - second-hand clothing stores under their brand were first opened in Slovakia and then in Romania which got them in November 2013.
As we were recently told by Akos Bedo, the founder and director of the Ír Használtruha company, they are interested in entering the markets of this region - Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
A minimum initial investment and low costs of operations are the primary advantages that could attract entrepreneurs to become a franchisee of Ir Hasznaltruha.
– Our primary goal is to operate as one system, meaning that all partners can count on a stable distribution channel, same look for all stores, low price policy, etc. - Bedo adds.
