Contract signed on 200,000 EUR worth of donation of Government of Japan intended for Serbia's health care sector
The contract on the donation of the Government of Japan for equipping of three health care institutions in the Republic with medical appliances worth nearly 200,000 EUR was signed today (DEcember 28, 2006) in the Government of Serbia.
Japanese donation is intended for the Institute for Pulmology and Tuberculosis of the Clinical Center of Serbia, Clinical Hospital "Dr Dragiša Mišović" and Health Center Pirot. The Manager of the Clinical Center of Serbia, Vojko Đukić, announced that those means would be used for procurement of instruments for modern work of the Institute for Pulmology and Tuberculosis - ten monitors for patients, bronchoscope, ECG machine, defibrilator and aspirator, in amount of 58,038 EUR.
In Clinical Hospital "Dr Dragiša Mišović", Japanes aid will be used for equipping of the gynecology-obstetrics clinic, which should be put into operation in few months, said the manager of that medical institution Đorđe Bajec.
Health Center Pirot will be equipped with four monitors for patients, digital microscope, cryostat, automatic tissue processor and ultrasound machine, in amount of 72,542 EUR.
