OHL ZS from Czech Republic signs Memorandum of Cooperation for Kragujevac-Corridor X railroad modernization

Representatives of the Serbian subsidiary of Czech company OHL ZS, the city management of Kragujevac and municipalities Batocina and Lapovo signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Wednesday for the complete reconstruction and modernization of the Kragujevac-Corridor X railroad 30 kilometers long.
According to the first estimates, the reconstruction, modernization and electrification of this railroad would cost about EUR 20 million, and this project will be implemented if backed by the Serbian government and Serbian Railways.

The Memorandum was signed by OHL ZS Serbia Director Milan Pavic, Kragujevac Deputy Mayor Nebojsa Zdravkovic and the mayors of Batocina and Lapovo, Radisa Milosevic and Nebojsa Miletic, respectively.
