Meeting of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies - June 13 - 15, 2005 in Sarajevo

The meeting of the insurance and reinsurance companies (SORS) will be held on June 13-15, 2005 in Sarajevo. The subject of the meeting will be "Institutional reforms in industry of insurance and reinsurance in the region for the purpose of approaching to European Union". SORS has been gathering representatives of insurance and reinsurance companies from the countries of former Yugoslavia for years. Head of the Coordination Board of this-year SORS is director general of Dunav Insurance Company, Mirko Petrović.

Three relevant subjects were suggested for this-year SORS: "International damages, i.e. problems and cooperation between the countries in the region in scope of Green Card Office Council", "Influence of weather conditions, i.e. natural disasters to prices and insurance and reinsurance terms, as well as solutions made for that purpose by certain insurance industries in the region ", and "Finances and bookkeeping in insurance and reinsurance and their harmonization with international standards ".
