Rank-list of bidders for Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor" to be known next week

The rank list of the best bidders for the purchase of the Mining Smeltert Basin (RTB) "Bor" will be announced next week at the meeting of the Tender Commission.

Romanian company "Kuprom" offered the price of 400m USD for RTB "Bor", 100m USD of which it intended for investments. Consortium "Orn Event Fund LP" and "East Point Holdings Limited" offered 340.10m USD, about 170 mn USD of which for investments, while Cyprian "Amalco Limited" gave a financial offer in amount of 288m USD.

The Tender Commission accepted the report of the advisor of the Privatization Agency, in which the technical offer of Cyprian company "Strike Force" was evaluated as incorrect, so that this company "fell out of the game".

It has been determined that the offer of "Strike Force" did not meet the requirements from the public invitation and the manual for bidders, because this company submitted written statement that it is not able to offer minimal price determined by the tender.
