Simpo and IKEA to boost cooperation in 2014

Dragan Tomic, president of the joint-stock company Simpo, and IKEA representatives agreed at a recent meeting to increase the scope of cooperation between the two companies in 2014, Simpo said in a release.

Simpo President Dragan Tomic notified IKEA representatives of the changes that had occurred after the company had agreed with the Serbian government to convert debts to an ownership stake of the state that would become a majority owner of Simpo once that process was completed.

IKEA representatives spoke to Tomic about how far they had come with the construction of their facilities in the region and reiterated that they were ready to make Simpo a supplier to IKEA facilities across southeast Europe.
