First five years of FedEX in Serbia

Yesterday, (December 5, 2006), tens and tens of partners and business friends took part in the celebration of the fifth birthday of FedEx Serbia, which enters the sixth year of operations with 1,000 regular clients.

FedEx Srbija (Flying Cargo) is the youngest member of the big world FedEx family that daily delivers over 5m packages with its well-known brand. Namely, during 33 years of operations FedEX became the biggest world company for transport and distribution of documents, which serves users in more than 215 countries on all continents thanks to its fleet of 667 airplanes, 45,000 delivery vehicles and large family of 210,000 employees.

There are lot of successful events that were pointed out by Mrs. Ines Zec at this celebration, among which are :

- During these five years, Fedex managed to bring POD to the domestic market, so that it won the trust of almost entire pharmaceutical industry.

- Fedex is one of the first companies that started to use the customs warehouse and, in that way, in very short period of time, significantly increased number of its users

- Among the first in Serbia, Fedex Belgrade signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Customs Administration and gave concrete contribution to the eradication of smuggling and protection of intellectual property.

At the celebration, which was organized in very pleasant milieu of Guarnerius Club, (Belgrade, 12 Džordža Vašingtona St.), Ines Zec thanked to all guests, especially to her valuable and innovative team.
