At a session on November 22nd, Leskovac's aldermen approved a feasibility study on the lease of building land to Green Lesko Recycling in Leskovac. This company plans to invest in the construction of a waste recycling plant, the local daily newspaper Nova Nasa Rec has reported.
Commenting on this decision, people at the Local Economic Development Agency said that aside from being economically important, that investment was also significant for environmental preservation.

The land of 4 hectares and 10 ares in Sever Industrial Zone will be rented for a period of 99 years free of charge. The investor is to finance this EUR 4.6 million project from its own resources.

Green Lesko Recycling is a subsidiary of the Life s.r.l. company from Italy. The owner of about 97 percent of shares in Life is S.E.A.B.

Green Lesko Recycling was registered in our country on 2 September 2013.

The investor is obligated to permanently hire minimum 71 workers in the first year of operations.
