Chinese city interested in investing in Nis

In a talk with Nis Mayor Zoran Perisic on Friday (29 November 2013), representatives of the Chinese city of Lanzhou expressed interest in implementing projects in the territory of Nis.
The Friday's meeting in the City Hall of Nis saw the delegation of the two cities presenting their potential.

- It is in our mutual interest to attract an investment from China which is the world's largest investor at the moment. The arrival of this delegation in Nis may be the start of our activities with Chinese investors - Perisic told Tanjug news agency.

According to him, the Chinese representatives are interested in investing in the electronic and mechanical industries as well as in culture, sports and tourism.

Lanzhou, the capital of the Gansu Province in northwest China, is a city of 3.5 million people.
