Belgrade to host largest regional science festival on December 5-8

How to visualize an audio recording, how a software that can tell us which celebrity we resemble works, how to make an explosion using paraffin... These are only some of the questions to which this year's Science Festival in Belgrade, the largest event of the kind in the region, is going to provide answers.

The 7th Science Festival will be organized between December 5 and 8 under the slogan "Superheroes of Science" in four locations in Belgrade - in former Kluz Department Store (RK), the Student Cultural Center (SKC), the gallery of the National Bank of Serbia, and ex Eurosalon.

- This year's festival will bring together 550 "superheroes of science." We've created this slogan after coming to a conclusion that all those who are nowadays engaged in science in Serbia in these cirumstances are genuine heroes. They only bring us progress because science is there only to make everything better for us - Ana Jovanovic, the director of this festival, told a press conference in former Kluz RK.

Over 550 young scientists from 52 Serbian scientific institutions will participate in the Science Festival this year that will also attract guests from the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Estonia and Croatia .

Last year's Science Festival was visited by 27,000 people.
