Beska Bridge paving work to finish this week

If the weather allows, paving of a bridge on the Danube near Beska will be completed this week, said Vojput Executive Director for Construction Vukoslav Vukoslavovic.

He told journalists in Subotica while touring the construction site that two layers of asphalt on access roads to the bridge had been rehabilitated to date.

Vukoslavovic stressed that the reconstruction of Beska Bridge was a "very complex and complicated project".

He reiterated that Vojput had won that RSD 140 million contract in a consortium with Belgrade-based Mostogradnja, after the contract with Alpine had been terminated. Vojput signed the contract in mid-September and commenced works in late October.
