(Elnos BL in Batajnica)
After eleven years of doing business in Serbia, Elnos BL yesterday ceremoniously opened a factory for producing compact prefabricated concrete substations under the Schneider Electric license in Batajnica, thus making it possible to carry out all the work at one place because a warehouse, Biosco CS substation production, electrical workshop and infrastructure for complete engineering resources are all situated in Batajnica.
The factory for producing Biosco CS substations is part of Elnos BL`s new, modernly equipped business center. It took three years to build this center which was opened this year. The three-floor business complex covers a surface area of 3,600 square meters featuring a production and storage space of 1,900 sqm and 1,650 square meters of office space, Elnos BL Beograd Executive Director Branimir Mijailovic says to eKapija.
- Our factory, the only facility of the kind in the region, is built in line with technological standards and specific features of Schneider Electric. This whole complex is valued at EUR 3.5 million, whereas the factory alone is worth EUR 800,000 - Mijailovic points out.
Another 50 workers in 2014
The business center currently employs over 70 people, whereas Elnos BL Serbia has a total of 100 workers.
- Since we plan new investments in 2014, improvement of tools and production boost, this will allow us to hire another 50 workers - Mijailovic claims.
