Overture to future business - three-day manifestation "Days of Friuli Venice Julia in Belgrade" commenced

Manifestation "Days of Friuli Venice Julia in Belgrade", in scope of which Serbia will be visited by significant number of Italian entrepreneurs willing to establish cooperation with local companies, commenced today (November 28, 2006) in Belgrade-based hotel "Hyatt".

The participants in that three-day meeting were greeted at the very opening by the Ambassador of Italy to Belgrade, Alesandro Merola, the Minister of Economy of Serbia, Predrag Bubalo, the Minister of International Economic Relations, Milan Parivodić, and regional Minister of International Relations of the Region of Friuli Venice Julia, Franko Iakop, expressing satisfaction with the fact that one such manifestation is held in Belgrade, as well as hope that this-year gathering could result in the improvement of mutual cooperation.

The exhibit named "Days of Friuli Venice Julia in Belgrade" was also opened today in hotel "Hyatt". That is the exhibit of well-designed boards that show some of the potentials of that region.

According to the announcement of the organizer, the meeting will be marked by numerous presentations that are conceived in a way that the businessmen of both countries get familiary with the local, that is, Italian business milieu, legal regulations and conditions for investments and business starting.

The investment potentials of Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Sad will be presented to the the guests from Italy today. Several round tables and few rounds of bilateral meetings will take place tomorrow, whereas on Thursday (November 30) Italian entrepreneurs will visit Kragujevac and Leskovac and get familiary with the local business conditions.
