This means that from that moment, employment as defined by the contract will start, and let me remind you that we are talking about 1,000 people who will find jobs in this leading company in the next two years – said the Mayor of Subotica.
He also said that Subotica administration “is ready to meet all the requirements of the investor”, and that Subotica has “the credibility of a favourable destination for foreign investments”
- We are proud of the fact that there are more than ten Italian companies in our city operating in the fields of banking and insurance, as well as renowned companies that are going to start their production, such as “Calzedonia” and “Leonardo”, which has entered a new investment cycle this year by bidding for land and planning to build a leather goods factory - said Dulić.
The Italian Ambassador Guiseppe Manzo said to the press that he made a commitment that the location of Subotica, which lies on the Corridor 10, would become an Italian square on the European corridor.
- When I go to Kragujevac and say “500”, everyone thinks about the car Fiat 500 and when I come to Subotica and Vojvodina and say “500” this means 500 enterprises that are mostly operating in the territory of Subotica – said Manzo. The Mayor of Subotica and the Italian Ambassador also talked about future cultural cooperation.
