Sinergy of mutual benefits – manifestation "Days of Friuli Venice Julia in Belgrade" to restore old and establish new business partnerships

- There are meny concrete reasons why everybody should gravitate toward establishment and development of close cooperation between Serbian companies and companies that come from the territory of Italian region of Friuli Venice Julia. There is so much experience that our businessmen could exchange between themselves, as well as projects on which they could work together – said the Manager of Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE), Enrico Barbieri, in his statement for "Ekapiju".

Announcing the manifestation that will be held under the name of "Days of Friuli Venice Julia in Belgrade" from November 28 to 30, 2006, in the Belgrade hotels "Hyatt" and "Intercontinental", he said that there would about 80 companies from Italy from the different spheres of business, most of which will be from the field of wood-processing and furniture production, agriculture, environment protection and civil engineering.

- Over the past few years we have already organized two similar meetings, which resulted in many concrete projects, as well as in the intention that the newly established partnerships spread further and be intensified. The region of Friuli Venice Julia is only six hours away from Serbia by car and such closeness contributes much to simpler and more efficient cooperation between economies of Italy and Serbia. Also, the fact is that many businessmen from that region still know and not rarely even speak some of the languages of former SFRY, which makes business communication easier and more attractive – Barbieri points out.

According to his words, ICE and the Embassy of Italy to Belgrade see big interest in such meetings on the side of Serbian businessmen who find contacts with Italian colleagues very important, since they could come to the new solutions, technologies and other staff through such cooperation. Barbieri says that Italian missions back the aforementioned meetings exactly because of that. They intend to made these meetings creative sinergy of various interests for every side to benefit from them.
