Indonesian instant soups and spaghetti from Indjija - Indofood to start building EUR 11 million production facility in spring 2014
Indofood has bought five hectares of land in Indjija's northeast work zone, where construction of a 25,000 sqm production facility will commence next spring.
This Indonesian company should be producing instant soups and spaghetti in Indjija, it was announced at the website of the Indjija municipality.
- Negotiations were finished early last week, our investors from Indonesia bought five hectares of land situated right behind the Grundfos factory. At this moment, the estimated value of investment in the future production facility is in excess of EUR 11 million, and the plan is to hire about 200 people by the end of the next year – said Indjija Mayor Petar Filipovic.
As he explained, the investor plans to have the construction started in spring 2014 and completed in late 2014.
Indofood, which was established in 1990 in Jakarta, is engaged in the production of food products.
