Galenika's accounts blocked

Director of the Republic Health Insurance Fund Momcilo Babic said that creditors had blocked the accounts of the pharmaceutical plant Galenika.

- Situation in Galenika has got even more complicated lately as it has been financially blocked by its creditors - Babic told TV Pink, stressing that an intervention from the Serbian government was necessary to resolve the situation in that company.

He added that Galenika's problem seemed insoluble to the Health Insurance Fund, that is, he said that the only promise he can give was that the Fund would buy the drugs made by that manufacturer.

- We will buy everything that Galenika produces and pay immediately because medications are the priority - Babic pointed out.
