The Croatian government, which calls this sale "the second round of privatization," has decided to partially or completely privatize 28 state-owned companies within the next year, the Seebiz web portal reports.
The second round of privatization should be divided into two phases with the first one to include the privatization of aforementioned nine companies.
In the second phase, which should start next year, private investors will be offered stakes in another 19 companies - Croatian postal firm, ACI, Jadrolinija, seven airports (Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb), Immunology Institute, Croatia Banka, APIS, the Brijuni, Shipping Institute, Hrvatska Brodogradnja - Jadranbrod, Club Adriatic, Park Prevlaka, and Velika Gorica Aviation and Technical Center, Seebiz claims.
