German 'Fresenius Medical Care' started building new factory in Vrsac - Job for 429 workers

German company 'Fresenius Medical Care' has started today in Vrsac construction of the factory for manufacture of dialysis equipment.
Along with investment worth 16 million EUR, there will be hired 429 workers, and the production should start in November, 2014.
Ambassador of Germany in Serbia, Heinz Wilhelm, pointed out at the ceremony that the new investment shows that investors have trust in Serbia.
The first Vice-president of the Government of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, was also present and on that occasion he said that the Government was working on improving business conditions and that they tend to attract larger number of German investments.
- We want as many German investments as possible and we want to be, together with Germany, a part of European Union, therefore we must fulfill highest standards, points out Vucic.
He estimated that it was an 'extraordinary result' that this factory would open 429 working positions in Vrsac, which means that 'Fresenius Medical Care' will hire more than 800 people in Serbia.
- Serbia will do anything necessary to have the German company increase the number of works in Serbia and it is our task to do so, said Vucic, adding that due to the new factory, annual export from Serbia will be increased for 30 million EUR.
'Fresenius Medical Care' is the largest manufacturer of dialysis equipment and through a network of more than 3.000 clinics it provides dialysis for 260.000 patients.
