Microsoft has changed leadership in Serbia - Andreas Hartl, temporary General Director

(Andreas Hartl)Microsoft company has announced that Jugoslav Piric will no longer be General Director for Serbia. The function of the new CEO will be taken over by Andreas Hartl until the new General Director is nominated.
-Jugoslav Piric will continue his professional career within the company at Director for Positioning Strategic Solutions for the region of Europe, Middle East and Africa with head office in Munich, it stands in the company's announcement.
Both decisions are immediately active.
Jugoslav Piric became the General Director of 'Microsoft' in September, 2011, after almost two decades of international experience in the field of information technologies.
-I would like to thank to Jugoslav for extreme contribution to our activities in Serbia and to congratulate him on the advance in his career within our company. Due to great relations with the Government, partners and society, Jugoslav made a strong impact to our company's operations in general. At the same time, I am sure that Andreas Hartl will do a terrific job until the new General Director is nominated, said Takuya Hirano, General Director for Multicountry region (24 countries) of Central and Eastern Europe.
(Jugoslav Piric)In an open letter to his colleagues and partners, Jugoslav Piric said:
-I am very proud of what we have achieved together since the opening. Thanks to challenging projects and a quality team, Belgrade based office succeed in placing Serbia on the technological map of the world and thus showed results regarding local and regional IT market development.

Andreas Hartl started his career in Microsoft company 15 years ago. He is currently on the position of the main operational director for multicountry region (24 countries) of Central and Eastern Europe, within various sales departments responsible for corporative and medium sized clients.
Before Microsoft, he worked as a software and hardware engineer in Germany and Australia. He finished his BA studies in Munich, and he also has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
-Serbia is a very important market for Microsoft, with brilliant people and excellent opportunities. I am looking forward to working with the team from Serbia, clients and partners, as well as the Government and society, hoping to work together on continuing our cooperation in the right direction, said Andreas Hartl.
