Slovenian telecom operator Amis for sale for EUR 30 million
Slovenian telecom operator Amis, which covers more than 10 percent of the Slovenian market, may soon be sold. According to the Slovenian business daily newspaper Finance, the price for this company will be set to EUR 30 million.
This daily cites Amis CEO Bostjan Kosak as claiming that the company has been put up for sale, but that no official bid has been received to date.
Amis had been making losses for few years, but it improved financial indicators last year and turned a profit of EUR 600,000.
In 2006, the Slovenian operator became a property of investment funds - Belgium's KBC and France's Iris Capital.
This operator has about 25,000 mobile subscribers and 62,000 landline subscribers in Slovenia.
The company is also active in the territory of Croatia, Croatian web portal Poslovni Dnevnik has reported.
