AIG and Generali in race for Croatia Osiguranje
Among the letters of intent for the acquisition of a stake in Croatian insurance company Croatia Osiguranje are those submitted by Italy's Generali and AIG from the USA.
According to Jutarnji List, Germany's Argo is not among the six insurance companies bidding for the stake in Croatia Osiguranje as bids are submitted by AIG, Grawe, Austria's VIG, PZ, and Triglav, while the group of interested prospective buyers whose core business is not insurance includes Croatia's Adris, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, IFC (International Finance Corporation) from the World Bank Group, and the private fund Ana Kapital.
