Tigar corporation from Pirot is increasingly conqering the military equipment market in Scandinavia, and it has already signed contracts to supply rubber boots to armies in Finland, Estonia, and Sweden.

- Due to specific conditions in which they are used, these boots had to meet very strict standards of aforementioned countries as well as the standards of the European Union, and first contracts have already been implemented. Representatives of Scandinavian armies and companies were staying in Pirot, where they visited our production facilties, so that we already agreed on further cooperation, that is, the export of rubber military boots after 2016 - Ivan Mijailkovic, executive production director at this factory, told a press conference.

After the very difficult first quarter, the Pirot-based company is slowly recovering with its exports reaching EUR 6 million in the second quarter, between April and end-August, Tanjug news agency has reported.

According to Accounting Director Djordje Dzunic, monthly sales averaged RSD 253 million in the last three months of this year.

- Sales in August were 10 percent higher than last year's average - said Dzunic.

By the way, this holding has published its semi-annual consolidated results that show a steep decline in business performances, primarily in business revenues that dropped 40%.
