Beer Fest attracts 700,000 people in five days
Belgrade Beer Fest has proven for the eleventh time to be the largest festival of the kind in southeast Europe. During five days, 700,000 people enjoyed listening to 43 performers live in concert for free as well as the tastes of over 50 different beer brands.
This year's festival was the first to involve the HappyContest campaign that saw media, art and sport celebrities competing in beer pouring and, thus, raising RSD 800,000 for Nevena Jankovic, a girl who needs a lung transplant.
Visitors declared Jelen Pivo the best beer of the festival, Lav had the best pavilion, while Heineken organized the best promo campaign dubbed "Guys - who's driving us home?," thanks to which festival visitors got a free night ride home.
