Austria invested EUR 5 million in Vojvodina development
Austrian Development Agency (ADA) invested EUR 5 million in the period 2007-2012 through a joint development project of the governments of Austria and Vojvodina to support the economic development measures of Serbia's northern province, it was announced at a session of the Vojvodina government.
The project is primarily focused on strengthening the capacity of the province with the aim of improving its social and economic position and contributing to more efficient inclusion in the EU integration process.
A stable partnership has been established with Austrian institutions to exchange knowledge on an institutional level and establish firmer business connections and trade.
According to a release issued by the provincial government, appropriate technical and financial assistance has been provided to selected users in the procurement of equipment and instruments and professional training.
