Vojvodina wants to build agro-technology park
Vojvodina Secretary for Interregional Cooperation Branislav Bugarski said Friday that that province was interested in building an agro-technology park of Vojvodina.
According to a release issued by the Bureau of Information of the Vojvodina government, Bugarski announced during his visit to Perugia, Italy that Vojvodina wanted to establish a certified food control system, stressing that the Agro-Technology Park of Umbria was quite experienced in that domain.
Representatives of the two regions are interested in preparing a study on the Agro-Technology Park of Vojvodina and considering the possibilities of breeding Chianina cattle in the territory of Vojvodina, the release reads.
During the visit to Umbria, Bugarski took part in an event dedicated to the European Capital of Culture project, where Perugia presented its candidacy for 2019.
Bugarski said that Vojvodina supported Perugia in its strivings to affirm cultural values in Europe, pointing to an excellent cooperation between Vojvodina and the Umbria Region.
According to Bugarski, Perugia's experience could be of use to Novi Sad which plans to apply for the title of the European Capital of Culture in 2020.
