Goldman Sachs eyes Serbia
A delegation of the world's leading investment bank Goldman Sachs will arrive in Serbia tomorrow on a two-day visit. As the Energy Ministry announced, the Goldman Sachs delegation will talk with the representatives of the Serbian government about projects and investment opportunities that Serbia offers.
Goldman Sachs representatives will have a meeting with Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. Their host will be Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zorana Mihajlovic.
During the two-day stay, this delegation will also meet Minister of Agriculture, Water Power Engineering and Forestry Goran Knezevic, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign and Domestic Trade and Telecommunications, Directorate for Commodity Reserves, and the management of companies Transnafta, Zita Srbije, and Zita Vojvodine.
The Goldman Sachs delegation will also visit RTB Bor to get familiar with its operations and future development projects.
One of the main discussion topics will be the formation of mandatory reserves of oil derivatives in Serbia as well as possible recapitalization of RTB Bor. Besides, the two sides will also talk about investment opportunities in the field of production funding, export and import of cereals, sugar and metals.
