italian discount chain Eurospin is arriving to Serbia?
Serbia Vice President and Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic, has spoken today with the owner of the biggest Italian discount chain, Eurospin, Luigi Mion, on options for arrival of that company to Serbian market.
Upon Ljaic's visit of the Eurospin company headquarters, Mion pointed out that Serbia is positively-ranked in development plans of this chain and that it is potential investment destination after Italy, Slovenia and Croatia where they already have their retail shops.
He added that the Eurospin company will carry out detailed analysis of the Serbian market after which it will decide on options and dynamics of potential market breakthrough, the announcement of the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade said.
Eurospin is the biggest discount chain in Italy with more than 9000 retail shops and prices are lower up to 30% compared to competitive companies. When entering the market in countries where they expand their business, they open minimum 15 retail shops and a large distribution center.
