Serbia has not taken any official reciprocal measures against Macedonia which has limited the import of flour and wheat from our country, people at the Ministry of Foreign and Domestic Trade of Serbia told Beta news agency Monday.

These people said they had no information that the import of tomato from Macedonia to Serbia was not allowed.

According to the local media, Serbia did not allow the import of tomato from Macedonia on Monday.

The Serbian government announced Friday (5 July 2013) that it would take reciprocal measures against Macedonia if the problem of limited import of flour and wheat from Serbia to Macedonia failed to be solved within the next ten days.

In that case, as it was announced, Serbia will consider limiting the import of the Macedonian wine and tomato.

Trade Minister Rasim Ljajic sent a letter to the CEFTA Secretariat requesting an emergency session because of the Macedonian government's regulation that violates the CEFTA Agreement.
