Heroj submarine in Tivat opens to tourists July 3rd
Following the renovation process that took few months, a fifty-meter P-821 submarine called Heroj will be opened to tourists at a ceremony starting at 9 PM on Wednesday, July 3rd, in the Porto Montenegro neighborhood in Tivat.
By opening this submarine, Tivat will become one of the few European cities that can offer its guests an unusual experience – a detailed tour of a large submarine.
This big diesel-electric submarine called Heroj, a part of the fleet of the former Yugoslav Navy, is completely re-equipped and will be open to tourists and all those who would like to know how it feels to be a submariner and sail, live and work in a submarine, which was the most complicated and the most dangerous warship in the period 1968-1991.
