Slovakia invests in Serbian energy - 4 biogas stations in Kanjiza and small hydro power plants in Tutin and Raska underway
Slovakia is interested in the construction of two big energy facilities in Serbia – gas electric power plant in Novi Sad and the Aleksandrovac-Novi Pazar-Tutin gas pipeline as well as for many other projects in this field.
- Combined heat and power plant in Novi Sad should be implemented by the international consortium of companies. The project totals EUR 450 mil – Jozeph Holenckih, President of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries of Slovakia (URSO), upon his recent visit to Belgrade.
- The construction of the Aleksandrovac-Novi Pazar-Tutin gas pipeline should be implemented by the Slovakian consortium Euroframe, which signed the contract on the construction of the gas pipeline with Srbijagas – Holjenckih adds.
He reminded that the Slovakian company, Prima energy, recently started contracution of the solar power plant of 1 MW in Tancos in Vojvodin. The project totals EUR 1, 5 mil.
- Slovakian companies see real opportunities for investments in other renewable sources in Serbia as well. Therefore, last year in Bac municipality Slovakian consortium of companies, started the construction of four bio gas stations totaling EUR 15, 2 mil - Holjenckih said and added that these companies are planning construction another four bio gas stations in Kanjiza.
Apart from that, Credo Invest wants to build dozens of small electric power plants in Serbia totaling EUR 100-150 mil. With respect to that, the company should intensively cooperate with municipalities Raska and Tutin. It will sign a memorandum on construction with these municipalities upon development of localities convenient for construction.
