Impressive response of the famous speakers at the assembley “Regional economic connecting in the Balkans”

Economist media group, publisher of the Economist magazine organizes on November, 14th, 2006, in Belgrade, a conference “Regional economic connecting in the area of ex Yugoslavia – inevitable or an option” whose purpose is to answer on a couple of questions that have lately occupied Balkan’s public, through an opened discussion with the leading business people from the region, and regarding economic connecting of the local companies and of the louder and louder invitations for the further economic integration.

The conference about the regional economic connecting would gather ministers of commerce of the ex Yugoslavian republics, high-ranked representatives of the regional leading companies and business elite from the country and the regiona, as well as representatives of large multinational companies. Some of already confirmed speakers are: Andriana Starina Kosem, state secretary of the Ministry of commerce of Slovenia; Predrag Boskovic, Minister of economy of Montenegro; Slobodan Vucicevic, director of Droga Kolinska for South-Eastern Europe; Ivana Veselinovic, general director of Delta M (Serbia); Ljerka Puljic, vice-president of Agrokor (Croatia); Damir Firšt, director for South-Eastern Europe, Metro; Stanislav Brodnjak, Assistand president of the Management, Mercator (Slovenia); Simon Smith, director Nestle Adriatic; Aleksandra Gatez, director Unilevera for South and Central Europe; Rodoljub Draškovic, president, Swisslion-Takovo (Serbia); Kamil Beffa, general director, Lafarge BFC (Serbia); Vladimir Todorovic, general director, Tinex: Budimir Kostic, president FIC and vice president of Raiffeisenbank (Serbia); Dragica Pilipovic Chaffey, director of the office EBRD u Beogradu; Jan van der Oord, AT&Kearney; Mike Ahern, partner PriceWaterhouseCooper (Serbia); Božidar Ðelic, director Credit Agricole group for Eastern Europe i ex minister of financies of Serbia; Aleksandar Vlahovic, partner EKI Investment i ex minister of commerce and privatization, etc.
