Overview

The municipality of Plandište is located in the southeastern part of Vojvodina and covers the area of 383 km², between the Danube-Tisa Danube canal and the state border with Romania. The municipality has 14 settlements, which vary in size and structure. The largest one is Plandište, its administrative and political centre.

Population

In the 14 settlements, there are totally 13,239 inhabitants. Their multi national structure comprises Serbs, Hungarians, Macedonians, Romanians, Slovaks, Roma, and other nationalities and ethnic groups. Currently, there are 1,728 unemployed persons in the municipality.

Economy

Agriculture is the main branch of the economy. The logical consequence of such a structure is, of course, the development of food processing industry, with flourmill and milk industry being the most important ones. Production of plastic packing material and textile industry are also developed.

Infrastructure

The municipality is located along the state border with Romania, and is only 80 km away from Belgrade. The motorway Zrenjanin-Vršac and the principal road, which connects Plandište with Belgrade, intersect it. Railway road Zrenjanin-Bela Crkva is also an important route. The canal network that is 501 km long is also well developed.

Tourism

Seven beautiful castles are important architectural and historical heritage of 19th and 20th century. Rich hunting grounds and recently discovered thermal water springs also offer great tourist potentials. In addition, a famous wind rose provides continual inflow of oxygenized and ionised air from the woods.

LOCATION 1

Site: Working zone (plot cadastral reg.no. 2430/1), Plandište

Total area: 42.900 m2

Type of ownership: Property of the Republic of Serbia (Municipality)

Intended use: Construction of industrial plants

Site description

The site is located 500 m off the M 7.1 principal road Vršac – Zrenjanin, and 100 m off the R 125 county road Plandište – Alibunar, towards Belgrade

Service infrastructure

The site has all the utilities and infrastructure. The site has access to energy supply system, water and gas supply systems, access to optical fibre cable are 100 m away.

Additional information

Lease of land for the period of 80 years is possible. The shortest possible period necessary for obtaining all the required permissions and approvals for construction on the site is 2 days from the day of submitting the documentation. The necessary planning and regulatory documentation already exists, such as General Development Plan of Plandiste and the procedure for approval of the General Regulatory Plan is underway.

LOCATION 2

Site: Working zone (plot cadastral reg.no. 1395/1 and 1396), Plandište

Total area: 33.000 m2

Type of ownership: Property of the Republic of Serbia (Municipality)

Intended use: Construction of a petrol station and supporting facilities

Site description

The site is situated on the M 7.1 principal road Vršac – Zrenjanin, and 1 km off the R 125 county road Plandište – Alibunar, towards Belgrade.

Service infrastructure

The site has all the utilities and infrastructure. The site has access to energy supply system, water and gas supply systems, access to optical fibre cable are 100 m away.

Additional information

Lease of land for the period of 80 years is possible. The shortest possible period necessary for obtaining all the required permissions and approvals for construction on the site is 2 days from the day of submitting the documentation. The necessary planning and regulatory documentation already exists, such as General Development Plan of Plandiste and the procedure for approval of the General Regulatory Plan is underway.

LOCATION 4

Site: Industrial zone (plot cadastral reg. no. 1624/9 and 1624/54), Plandište

Total area: Plot cadastral reg.no.1624/9 – 6 ha 5 a; plot cadastral reg.no.1624/54 – 1 ha

Type of ownership: Property of the joint-stock company “Agrobanat“, Plandište

Intended use: Construction of structures for industrial plants, small-scale industry, petrol station and freight terminal

Site description

The Industrial Zone is located next to the M 7.1 principal road Vršac – Zrenjanin. The plot is registered as ’other undeveloped construction land’.

Service infrastructure

Power supply connection is 300 m away, while water supply system connection is 400 m away. Until completion of sewerage reticulation, it is possible to use a watertight septic tank.

Additional information

Lease of land and the buildings for the period of 80 years is possible. The shortest possible period necessary for obtaining all the required permissions


and approvals for construction on the site is 40 days. The required planning and regulatory documentation already exists, such as the General Development Plan of Plandište.
