Toner manufacturer TRS Swiss Production from Petrovaradin to hire another 47 workers

The Vojvodina government said in a release on Friday (31 May 2013) that it had provided RSD 6.13 million worth of incentives for the employment of another 47 workers at a TRS Swiss Production factory for producing toner cartridges in Petrovaradin.

Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic said while touring this company that the only way to overcome the crisis was to cut the number of employees in the public sector and increase their number in the production sector as well as through support to production.

- For this reason the Vojvodina government reduced the number of employees in the provincial administration by over 10 percent last year - said Pajtic.

He announced that about 11,000 people would be hired in the economy sector and agriculture in 2013, adding that the Vojvodina government would focus its support on employment programs at successful export companies working hard to improve the country's foreign trade balance.

The US company Clover Holdings, which is engaged in, among other things, recycling and reproducing printer cartridges, took over the TRS Group in August 2011.
