The President of Nature Conservation Movement "Sremska Mitrovica", Slobodan Simić, said on the occasion of the awarding of the biggest Republic certificate for development of sustainable tourism to that movement, for the project for Special Nature Reservation "Zasavica", that the construction of villa "Rustika" or "Roman village house", worth 200,000 EUR, near Vizindol center, on the pasture of Valjevac, was in the pipeline.
Several European countries will join the implementation of the project. According to his words, the stuffed specimens of birds, reptiles and fish that live in Zasavica will be placed in that house, as well as the laboratory intended for further research of that location.
The Zasavica river, which flows through the Mačva part of Municipality of Sremska Mitrovica, more famous as the Zasavica puddle, is 37 km long and it represents the untouched part of the nature, because only small part of it can be reached by the people.
