Turkey's Teknotes to build thermal power station in Despotovac - Investment of USD 700 million by 2016

Turkish company Teknotes signed Thursday (18 April 2013) an agreement with the Despotovac municipality to build a thermal power station in the territory of this municipality, it was announced on the official municipal website.
The agreement on long-term business and investment partnership was signed by Despotovac Mayor Dejan Nenadovic and Teknotes CEO Oral Bajtok.
As Nenadovic said, it should take the Turkish company two and a half years to build a thermal power station with the capacity of about 330 megawatts on the site of the former Resava Mine in Plazan. Its strategic partner in this project will be the public underground coal mining company PEU Resavica.
The agreement signing ceremony was attended by PEU Resavica Director Vladan Milosevic and his associates, representatives of the Serbian government as well as Dobrivoje Budimirovic Bidza, a friend of the municipality of Despotovac.
