Romanian "Kuprom" interested in Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor"

The biggest Romanian copper manufacturer "Kuprom" is interested in privatization of Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor" and it has already bought the tender documentation.

According to the announcement of "Kuprom", that company is interested in taking over the entire basin, including all organization parts, smeltery and electrolysis, as well as existing mines in Bor and Majdanpek.

The main aim of "Kuprom", if it becomes the owner, is to prepare Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor" for long-term operations as a significant world copper manufacturer, as well as to create integrated regional copper production system.
