Green light for construction of wind generators in Alibunar - WindVision moves closer to implementation of EUR 290 million project

One of the largest prospective foreign renewable energy investments in Serbia has finally received the green light to enter the next phase of development. Last Thursday the Alibunar municipality adopted the zoning for the construction of a complex of wind generators with a total capacity of 174 megawatts.

The value of this project is EUR 290 million. After three years of extensive preparations and serious investment, the Belgian-Dutch company WindVision has got a chance to submit documentation for a building permit.

Implementation of this investment will also allow for long-term local economic development of one of the most underdeveloped municipalities in Serbia.
