Reorganization of Novi Sad-based Jugoalat

The Novi Sad Court of Commerce has adopted a reorganization plan for Jugoalat, according to which the majority owner, Spase Jakovljevic, that is, his Slovenian company ASAB, should invest RSD 20 million to restart production.

The largest creditors of this company have agreed with the reorganization plan.

However, President of the Assembly of former workers Slobodan Blagojevic says that they will be tricked and that no money will be paid to them in this way.

Blagojevic announces a complaint, reminding that the debt to the state for Pension Fund taxes is in excess of RSD 90 million, which is why over 400 former workers of Jugoalat have filed claims totaling nearly EUR 2 million.
