Lightspeed from New York to relocate IT product development operations to Novi Sad

M&I Systems, Co. Group, one of the leading Serbian IT engineering and management consulting companies, has signed an agreement on long-term strategic product development with the US company Lightspeed. This technology company from New York has developed an advanced platform for online trading in shares and securities for hedge funds, risk management solutions, etc.

According to the CEO of the M&I Systems, Co. Group, Vladan Balaban, so-called "institutional development" that Lightspeed could relocate to Serbia represents much more than a classical outsourcing.

- Our wish and aim is that Lightspeed relocates the entire institutional development to Serbia, where it would use our know-how and experiences, tools, programmers and consultants. Such business arrangement would bring many benefits - from new jobs to a bigger export potential. Also, we are very proud of being recognized by a global player like Lightspeed as a partner who could help it develop and additionally improve its online brokerage platform. We would also like to make the M&I Systems, Co. Group a consulting company providing support for Lightspeed solutions in Europe in the future - Balaban explains.
