Italians interested in converting trash into electricity in Loznica

Representatives of the Italian company Econord from Varese, Italy are interested in using municipal waste from Loznica's landfill to generate electricity.

Italians and their hosts toured the existing municipal landfill in Loznica, which should be completely refurbished, and the location where a new sanitary landfill should be built for waste from that city as well as Krupanj, Ljubovija and Mali Zvornik. The Italian company is interested in using that waste in the process of generation of electricity, which would be commercially supplied to consumers through the national power distribution system.
