No interest in state-owned stake in Neoplanta - NIP Zrenjanin and Ruma-based Poljopromet sold
The Privatization Agency said in a release that the Share Fund had sold two packages of shares at Tuesday's auction, in companies NIP Zrenjanin and Poljopromet from Ruma.
Auctions for the sale of shares in 24 other companies are declared unsuccessful, the release reads.
Among the state-owned stakes on the auction block were those in the following companies: Neoplanta, Pupin Telecom, Sunce, Kopaonik, Telefonkabl, Rumaplast, Stari Tamis, etc.
The Agency was trying to sell most of these stakes at their book value, although the prices of shares of the majority of these companies on the Belgrade Stock Exchange are much below that level.
In that way, 8.4 percent of shares in Novi Sad-based Neoplanta was offered for sale at the starting price of RSD 292.3 million, that is, at the book value of RSD 1,466 per share.
The current price of shares in this meat-packing company on the Belgrade Stock Exchange is RSD 535.
