Krupanj municipality buys Krupanjka in bankruptcy
All movables of Krupanj-based Krupanjka textile factory in bankruptcy, which is a part of the Loznica Viskoza holding, have been purchased by the Krupanj municipality for RSD 55 million, the Privatization Agency announced in a release.
Krupanjka is Viskoza's only subsidiary situated outside Loznica, and its estimated value was RSD 152.7 million.
Before the company went bankrupt in 2009, there had been three auctions for the sale of the company's property, but none of them had attracted any interested prospective buyers.
Krupanjka's assets were put up for sale three times in 2010 and once in 2011, and all these attempts ended in a failure.
The company's core activity is the production of textile and ready-made clothing. Krupanjka was established in 1964, and it employed about 200 workers before the start of privatization.
