NIS pays out dividends for first time

The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will pay out dividends to its shareholders for the first time ever, NIS CEO Kirill Kravchenko announced.

- I can freely say that we have filled the void from the previous year. In mid-2012 we determined a dividend policy, according to which minimum 15 percent of the net profit will go to dividends - Kravchenko said in an interview with the weekly magazine Nedeljnik.

He stressed that it was still up to the Shareholders' Assembly and the Managing Board to decide, but added that the shareholders should get dividends on the basis of the statute and the dividend policy.
