Simpo halts production at eight of its factories over snow issues

Due to heavy snowfall that slowed down truck traffic and the supply of raw materials and fuels, production at almost all Simpo factories in the Pcinj region was halted on Monday, the company's info service said in a release today.

As Beta news agency was told by Simpo's info service, production workers from eight factories situated in Vranje, Presevo, Bujanovac, Trgoviste and Surdulica have not been coming to work since Monday.

It is still unknown when Simpo factories will resume production, and people at this company say it depends on the weather.
